21Shares Files for Spot SUI ETF in US, Expanding Beyond European Market
21Shares, a leading European digital asset investment manager, has submitted a Form S-1 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a spot SUI exchange-traded fund (ETF). The proposed 21Shares SUI ETF marks the firm’s strategic push into the American market, where competition is intensifying.
Canary Capital has also sought SEC approval for a SUI ETF, with CBOE BZX exchange supporting its listing bid. The SEC now faces a backlog of over 72 crypto-related ETF applications, including multiple SUI products, as institutional demand for digital asset exposure grows.
